Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Before you begin, make sure you have the following supplies ready:
• CARPRO Reset – pH-neutral car shampoo
• Two buckets with grit guards
• Microfiber wash mitt or sponge
• Hose or pressure washer
• CARPRO Reload – Maintenance spray
• Microfiber towels
• CARPRO ECH2O – Quick detailer & waterless wash
Step 2: Pre-Wash Inspection
- Park your car in a shaded area to prevent the product from drying too quickly.
- Inspect your car’s ceramic coating for any visible contaminants, such as bird droppings, bugs, or tree sap.
Step 3: Rinse the Car
- Rinse the car thoroughly with a hose or pressure washer to remove loose dirt and debris.
- This step will also help soften and loosen any contaminants on the surface.
Step 4: Washing with CARPRO Reset
- Fill one bucket with water and add CARPRO Reset as per the recommended dilution.
- Fill the other bucket with plain water.
- Using the two-bucket wash method, dip your wash mitt or sponge into the soapy solution, then wash one section of the car at a time.
- Rinse your mitt in the plain water bucket frequently to remove dirt and grit.
- Gently wash the car’s surface, starting from the top and working your way down.
- Be extra cautious not to use excessive force or pressure while washing, as ceramic coatings are sensitive to abrasion.

Step 5: Rinse Thoroughly
- After washing the entire car, rinse it thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
Step 6: Drying
- Use a clean, soft microfiber drying towel to gently dry your car. Pat the surface rather than dragging the towel to prevent swirl marks.
Step 7: Apply CARPRO Reload
- Once the car is dry, spray CARPRO Reload directly onto the surface.
- Spread the product evenly with a clean microfiber towel.
- Buff off any remaining residue for a glossy finish.
Step 8: Final Touch with CARPRO ECH2O
- For quick touch-ups or to maintain the shine between washes, use CARPRO ECH2O.
- Spray ECH2O on the surface and gently wipe it with a microfiber towel.
Step 9: Regular Maintenance
• For long-term ceramic coating protection, it’s essential to apply CARPRO Reload periodically (every few months, or as recommended for your specific ceramic coating).
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or automatic car washes that may damage the coating.
• Always follow CARPRO’s specific product instructions and safety guidelines for optimal results and to protect your ceramic-coated vehicle.
By following this maintenance guide and using CARPRO products, your ceramic-coated vehicle will maintain its shine and protection for an extended period.
